​MAD VELVET is Maxmilián’s solo music project, where he blends his dreams, poetic sensibility, and his favorite 60s/70s looseness and vibrancy with neo-psychedelic electro-rock.

 

His solo work carries a touch of Syd Barrett’s surrealist-dadaist decadence, MGMT’s sarcastically playful modernist nostalgia, and David Bowie’s flamboyant creativity.

 

He has released two singles and a debut LP, The Dreamshape Mirror, and has opened for bands such as Night Beats, Still Corners, and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.

 

He is currently working on a new single (2025).
